What is a Circle of Belonging?

When the world feels overwhelming, coming together in authentic conversation becomes essential. These circles offer nourishment for the soul and clarity for the path ahead.
Circles of Belonging are small, facilitated conversations (90 minutes on Zoom) where people practise listening well and speaking honestly. They're structured, not therapy, and guided by 12 simple agreements that keep it safe and useful.

Benefits

Connect with like-minded people and build inner strength, resilience, clarity, and communication skills to thrive in all life areas.

How it Works

You start with three no-cost sessions to try it. After that, there's a fee to cover costs: $30 AUD per session, with scholarship/concession rates available. You can join a continuing participant group or a 10-week Circle Keeper (facilitator) training group. Session times will be provided when you submit your participation request through our website form.

Founder, Paddy Murray

For over 30 years, I've had the privilege of sitting with people in their struggles and triumphs - women and men from all walks of life. From homeless shelters to prison walls, from community programs to quiet counselling rooms, I've learned that healing happens when we truly listen to each other.
My background in economics and graduate training in counselling gave me the foundation, but my path has wandered through many worlds - corporate boardrooms and blacksmith forges, Buddhist monasteries and single parenthood - always with the heart of the work being the same: creating safe spaces where people can speak their truth and be heard.
Sometimes the most revolutionary act is simply showing up for one another.

Finding Our Way - A Poem
live in the positive world or the negative one
be in the land of light or darkness
belong to the land of loving or the land of taking
be connected, or isolated and unsupported
embrace life or live in fear
be aware of ourselves and our world, or not
